Insanely Delicious Hummus
Creamy, dreamy, and better than anything store-bought
Makes ~2 ½ cups
Ingredients
2 cup cooked chickpeas
1/2 cup tahini
¼ cup olive oil
3–4 garlic cloves (adjust to taste)
1 tsp cumin
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp maple syrup
Salt + pepper to taste
2 ice cubes
Dried mint and/or red pepper flakes
Directions
Blend the base
Add chickpeas, tahini, garlic, cumin, lemon juice, maple syrup, salt, and pepper to a blender or food processor. Blend until it starts to come together.Create that creamy texture
Once partially smooth, add in 2 ice cubes.
This is the secret—it transforms the texture into that ultra-creamy, whipped consistency.Blend until silky
Continue blending until smooth and fluffy. Taste and adjust salt, lemon, or garlic as needed.Serve + finish
Spoon into a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with dried mint (or paprika if you prefer).
